welcome to travel avenue
Your go-to resource for making every getaway successful and memorable.
Travel really is one of the greatest parts of life, without a doubt. I’ve been beyond blessed in my years to have traveled to so many incredible places and have seen so much of the world already. From studying abroad in Florence, Italy in 2022 (my first time ever in Europe!) to my graduation trip to Costa Rica with my fabulous friends in 2023, and now living in Madrid, Spain, I truly feel lucky to have been blessed with so many experiences like these and more in my past.
Travel is such an essential part of life, and I hope everyone gets the chance to experience it. There’s so much of the world to see, and endless opportunities to discover new things.
I don’t know what I love most about traveling—the food, the culture, the people, the places—but I do know that if I ever won the lottery, there would be signs and those would be that I’d be traveling nonstop, day in and day out!
I think in a past life, I was a travel planner because there’s something that sparks joy in me when it comes to planning trips! Thankfully, we have so many tools these days that can help you figure out the best places to eat, the most beautiful things to see, ways to budget, and everything you need to know about your trip even before you get there. It’s really quite marvelous. Social media (travel TikTok specifically) has been such a helpful resource for me in planning my trips, and I know many others feel the same way!
That said, I’m not a travel expert, and there are plenty of things that go can and do wrong during trips. But those are often the moments that add character to your trip and make it even more memorable. Every trip, even if it’s just for a few hours, is something to remember and take in. I try to embrace every moment, and I want to share those experiences with you.
In this space, you can expect tips on everything from finding the best eats in Lisbon to how to spend three perfect days in Florence. I’ll share tricks I learned while studying abroad, tips on packing for weeks of travel, some guides on what to do based off my experiences, & so much more.
There’s so much to explore out there in this lovely little world, whether it’s 20 minutes outside your hometown or 2000 miles away. So let’s get out there and start some new adventures together!
