the euro summer series
a go-to guide for planning your dreamy european getaway—packed with stories, tips, and travel inspo.
As I was reminiscing through my camera roll late at night (as per usual), I stumbled upon last summer—a true dream of a time. I’ve been so lucky to travel to so many places in Europe throughout the years, mostly thanks to studying abroad. However, since I’ve been living in Madrid for over a year, I have been able to travel even more throughout Europe. Last year, I made it a goal to have my first real “Euro summer,” since I had only studied abroad until May (and that doesn't necessarily count as the summertime just yet).
Of course, you see this all over social media and probably ask yourself, how is everyone always finding the time, and most importantly, the money, to spend two weeks in Europe every summer?
The truth is, everyone’s situation is different. Maybe they already live here (like me), which makes travel much more affordable. Or maybe they planned their trip months in advance, which is one thing you and I are going to explore throughout this series. Or maybe they just do have that kind of money. No one's here to judge another, we all just wanna have fun! (Cue "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" while reading the rest of this blog post.)

You also want to make sure that when you do travel and have spent a solid amount of money to get to that dreamy destination, you actually have a fabulous time there. Yes, there will most likely always be bumps in the road (it’s life!), but my goal here is to help you plan a trip with as few obstacles as possible.
From traveling to well-known, touristy spots to discovering quaint (or semi-quaint) places off the beaten path, I’m here to share all the marvelous ways I’ve spent my days traveling. In this series, I’ll be sharing past itineraries, reasons why (or why not) to visit certain places, what to eat, where to shop, and everything in between.
Below I’ve also shared a list of the places I went last summer, along with a few other gems I’ve visited in the past that would make any Euro summer extra special.

This is a series I have been WAITING to do and the time has finally come. Stay tuned to all of my socials because you’ll find all kinds of inspiration throughout these next few months!
So gear up, grab your notepad (or just the Notes app), and let’s get into all the marvelous ways to spend your holidays this summer!
Also, please feel free to message me or leave a comment below with any questions or recommendations you're looking for! If you're visiting somewhere I didn’t mention, I’d love to help however I can.
Until the rest of the series, my loves!
